Our Projects

The Center for Social Innovation engages in projects and programs that bring new thinking and best practices to the frontlines of human services. The work we do is often the first of its kind anywhere, extending the frontier of effective services for the most vulnerable populations.

We span the gap from pure research to hands-on service in local communities. The projects we undertake generate new knowledge from which to craft useful and practical tools, training, and resources for providers serving people at the margins of society.

Experiences of homelessness, mental illness, addiction, and trauma can interact to compound the impacts of each, with devastating human consequences. The Center for Social Innovation specializes in unraveling this complexity to discover what people need to reclaim their lives.

We also guide human service organizations in defining and achieving their vision and mission. At a time when needs are great but resources are limited, a sharp focus on the scope and scale of an agency’s work can make the difference between success and failure.
