Moving new practices into the field.

We know what works to solve homelessness, help people with co-occurring disorders, and engage vulnerable youth. But this knowledge often moves too slowly into the hands of community-based providers who need it most.

The Center for Social Innovation moves best practices into the field using innovative products that translate complex practices into accessible tools, training that equips community-based providers with best practice skills and knowledge, and interactive web sites that support vibrant communities of practice.

We are on the hunt for emerging solutions, looking for the next “Housing First,” the next “Motivational Interviewing,” the next “Critical Time Intervention.” We accelerate the adoption of new concepts by identifying effective approaches, supporting research to build an evidence base, and developing training to get these practices into the field where they can help individuals, families, and children in distress.
